We Call It Acieeed
12 inch 45 r.p.m. vinyl record in a black paper record sleeve. The artist 'D-MOB FEATURING GARY HAISMAN' and the track title 'we call it acieeed' 'THE MATEY MIX REMIXED BY DANNY D.' feature on the front.
In the late 1980s UK, acid house music was moving into the mainstream. This 1988 track, the debut single of British music artist and producer D Mob, was the first acid house track to enter the UK Top-20 singles chart, reaching number 3. It features the steady 4/4 beat that was characteristic of acid house and singer and rapper Gary Haisman, who appears on the track chanting ‘Acieeed’. Emerging acid house music generated a new club culture of trance and rave often associated with the Ecstasy drug.
