This playbill promotes an appearance by the aeronaut André-Jacques Garnerin at the Spring Gardens, in Charing Cross, in 1820. Garnerin's experiments with balloon flight would be demonstrated with the use of floating balloons, and the spectacle would be presented with a display of 'philosophical fire works' and 'an electrical storm.'
