Double sided handbill petition entitled 'The Petition of Divers Eminent Citizens of London Presented to the Lord Mayor and Court of Aldermen the 28th of April 1681.' The petition requests that a Common Council be called by the Mayor & Aldermen with the intention of persuading the King to call a Parliament to defeat the 'Popish Conspirators'. Printed for 'B.A.' and published by Richard Janaway, in Queenshead Alley in Paternoster Row.
