Women's Sunday
Suffragette procession en route to Women's Sunday, held in Hyde Park, 21 June 1908. Although there was no local WSPU branch the women of North Islington were well represented on this procession and carried three banners. They marched as part of the Euston Road procession, one of seven such processions that converged on Hyde Park. Six brass and silver bands accompanied the women, playing suffragette songs.
