Men's League for Women's Suffrage
Membership card for the Men's League for Women's Suffrage (MLWS), founded in 1907 to promote the women's campaign with support from men who already had electoral power. Its methods were non-militant, although it supported the work of the Women's Social and Political Union. The founder, Herbert Jacobs, stood as the woman's suffrage candidate in East St Pancreas.
