Printed Ephemera — 1909
The Suffragette At Home And At Work
Commercial picture postcard published by the Rotary Photographic Company. The comic postcard is printed with two studio photographs of a young female child representing the Suffragette both 'at home' - reading a newspaper and 'at work' - standing on a chair delivering a speech.
The postcard is similar to the Woman Suffrage Series by ETW Dennis & Sons published in 1907. The postmark is dated August 15th 1909 and includes a message possibly sent to the Suffragette Myra Sadd Brown. It notes the sender is going to the White City Exhibition the following day.
