Elizabeth Wolstenholme Elmy played a prominent role in Women's Sunday heading the Euston Road procession alongside Emmeline Pankhurst and the North Country procession of Lancashire lasses and supporters from North London. At Hyde Park she sat on one of the platforms to hear speeches from the Suffragette leaders.
