Miss Jessie Kenney's Office, Women's Social and Political Union, Headquarters, Clement's Inn, July 1911. Jessie Kenney, younger sister of Annie, was personal secretary to Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence. The map on the back wall reveals the nationwide scope of the suffragette campaign. By 1911 the WSPU had offices in Brighton, Reading, Birmingham, York, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol, Leicester, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Wales and Scotland.
