Printed Ephemera
Daniell & Son
Copper-engraved billhead or trade card for the leather trunk making firm of Daniell and Son, located at 34 Edward Street, Portman Square. The billhead includes an oval shaped engraving depicting a scene from the inside of the business premises showing a man and woman selecting at trunk from a young assistant. The printed script also notes the firm supply travelling, portmanteau and Morocco trunks for a range of purposes including the 'East and West India' trade. The billhead was possibly previously pasted to the inside of a trunk supplied by the firm.
