Billhead, invoice
Copper-engraved billhead with handwritten invoice issued by the grocers Welch and Dore, located at the corner of Bow Street, Bloomsbury. The billhead includes an engraving of the tradesman's sign of three sugar loaves suspended from a bracket. The handwritten invoice dated 18th August 1757 refers to the supply of goods to Mrs Hucks.
