Letter from the West Algoma Equal Suffrage Association to Miss Barbara Wylie, 26 November 1912. The letter was written to the Suffragette whilst she was undertaking a suffrage speaking tour across Canada between October 1912 and April 1913. West Algoma is located in the Ontario district.
Barbara Wylie joined the WSPU in 1909, was an organiser at the Camberwell by-election campaign in April 1910 and worked for the WSPU in Glasgow from 1910. On her return from Canada, Barbara remained faithful to the Pankhursts and was present and injured at St Andrew's Hall, Glasgow while attempting to help Emmeline evade arrest in April 1914.
