Timothy Bligh
Copper-engraved billhead and handwritten invoice issued by the tallow chandler Timothy Bligh located at Great Rider Street, St James's. The billhead is printed with the Royal Coat of Arms flanked by two engravings of the Prince of Wales feathers in recognition of the chandler's role as supplier to the Royal Household. The invoice dated July 10th 1790 refers to the supply of candles and wax to Robert Hucks. The invoice includes the remnants of a red seal.
