Little Chapel, Kingsway. The Kingsway Hall Methodist Church was built in 1912 as the centre of worship for the West London Mission, a Wesleyan Methodist organisation. The text on the wall to the right is dedicated to the memory of Hugh Price Hughes. He was an evangelical preacher who became Superintendent of the West London Mission. Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
