St. Cuthbert's, Philbeach Gardens, S.W.
The Church of St. Cuthbert, now called St. Cuthbert with St. Matthias, Philbeach Gardens, Earl's Court. The church was built in 1884-87 by the architect Hugh Roumieu Gough. The exterior is of red and black brick. The interior is ornately decorated in the Arts and Crafts style.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
