Photography — 1913
Buckingham Palace
Edward Blore added this east front facade of Buckingham Palace to Nash's original building in the 1840s. This image was taken in 1913 just before the facade was remodelled by Aston Webb.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
