This view of the King's Road in Chelsea shows pedestrians on either side of the street, a cylist and a woman crossing the road with a pram.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers. Christina Broom was born at 8 King's Road in 1862.
