Campden Hill Court, W.
Campden Hill Court is a Victorian mansion block built between 1898 and 1903. It comprises five blocks of flats, each six storeys high, arranged around a communal garden. The gardens in front of the building in this image are called 'Observatory Gardens'.
Christina Broom was a professional photographer who produced a series of London street views for sale as postcards. She later photographed the activities of the suffrage movement in London and is considered one of the earliest female press photographers.
