Doll, cloth doll
Cloth or rag doll with glazed black cotton head, body and limbs stuffed with kapok or cotton wool. With stitched features (eyes and mouth) and soft black curly hair of unidentified fibre. The doll represents a male soldier dressed in blue wool uniform with red trim. A medallion or coin pinned to his chest is dated 1877.
