Mechanical picture
Mechanical picture of a clown. Comprising two sheets of rectangular card pasted together. On the top sheet is printed a clown's face with cut out eyes and mouth. On the sheet below are printed the eyes and tongue. A tab at the back of the sheet enables the eyes and tongue to be moved to create various expressions. Marked 'DRGM 1984'. Purchased for one penny (1d) from a London street trader on 18th October 1902.
