Kitty Marion
Typescript account of Newcastle prison experiences by Kitty Marion, November 14th 1909.
The account refers to Kitty's first period of hunger strike and force-feeding which resulted in her setting fire to her prison cell. Arrested in Newcastle with Dorothy Pethick for throwing a stone through a government (post office) window in protest at a visit by Lloyd George, Kitty was serving a one month prison sentence.
