1765-70. English. Painted wooden doll with jointed legs and arms of cloth and carved wood. The wig of this doll is of grey-brown human hair, rolled above the forehead in imitation of the contemporary hairstyles. She wears a very fashionable dress and petticoat of figured silk (restored)
