Votes for Women, Great Demonstration in Hyde Park.
Printed handbill announcing a Suffragette demonstration taking place in Hyde Park on April 4th 1914. This event, organised the Women's Social and Political Union, was planned to coincide with the Ulster Unionist Demonstration also held in Hyde Park on the same day in protest against the Government's Home Rule Bill. The notice is printed in green and purple colour scheme of the WSPU to distinguish this event from the Ulster Union demonstration. The leading organiser of the demonstration was General Flora Drummond who also spoke at the event.
