A Great Public Demonstration, The London Opera House, To Protest Against that Policy of the Government with Regard to Women's Suffrage.
Printed handbill announcing a public demonstration and protest against the Liberal Government's continued opposition to female suffrage. The demonstration held at the London Opera House on 15th March 1912 was organised by a number of suffrage societies including the Actresses Franchise League, The Catholic Women's Society, The Church League for Women's Suffrage, The National Political Reform League and the Women Writer's Suffrage League. The handbill notes, the open meeting will demand the immediate introduction of legislation to enfranchise women.
