Printed handbill headed 'Stand UP for the Soldier's Wife', advertising a meeting to be held at Caxton Hall on 16 November 1914 protesting against government proposals to restrict women's liberties during World War I. Organised by the East London Federation of Suffragettes and the United Suffragists speakers at the event included 'a soldier's wife,' Evelyn Sharp, Mr H. Baille-Weaver, Mrs Drake, Mr H. W. Nevinson ans Sylvia Pankhurst.
