What Liberal Cabinet Ministers have said of Women's Suffrage
Campaign leaflet published by the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies entitled 'What Liberal Cabinet Ministers have said of Women's Suffrage.' The double sided leaflet is printed with quotations from leading liberal MPs including Prime Minister Asquith, Lloyd George and Winston Churchill that appear to positively support female suffrage. The leaflet exposes the apparent contradiction between the support shown in these quotes with the actual formal policy of the Liberal Government that consistently obstructed private member's Bills that would have granted limited female suffrage.
