A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Carausius, ruler of the Romano-British Empire, AD 286-293. The back of the coin depicts Moneta, the female personification of riches and wealth. This coin was minted in the Romano-British Empire, AD 286-293.
Obv: Draped, cuirassed and radiate bust of Carausius, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP CARA[VSIVS]... . Rev: Moneta, standing left, holding scales in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: MON[ET]A AVG.
