A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Carausius, ruler of the Romano-British Empire, AD 286-293. The back of the coin depicts Pax, the Roman goddess of peace. This coin was minted in the Romano-British Empire, AD 286-293.
Obv: Radiate bust of Carausius, facing right. Obv inscription: Illegible. Rev: Pax, standing left, holding an olive branch in her extended right hand and a vertical sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: [PA]X [AVG], SP in field.
