Tyrone Guthrie on Belfast as a Festival Centre
Leaflet with an account by the theatrical director Tyrone Guthrie of how Belfast marked the Festival of Britain in 1951. Guthrie directed the Northern Ireland Festival Season in Belfast in May 1951. The city hosted the Ulster Farm and Factory Exhibition, planned by the Northern Ireland Festival Committee. The Festival ship, Campania, also visited Belfast with displays which reflected those of the South Bank.
