Coin, radiate
A copper alloy radiate coin of Emperor Postumus, Emperor of the Romano-Gallic Empire, AD 260-269. The back of the coin depicts Jupiter, king of the Roman gods. This coin was minted at Colonia Agrippina (modern day Cologne, Germany), AD 260-261.
Obv: Draped, cuirassed and radiate bust of Postumus, facing right. Obv inscription: IMP C POST[VMV]S P F AVG. Rev: Jupiter, standing right, holding a thunderbolt in his raised right hand and a transverse sceptre in the left. Rev inscription: IOVI VICTORI.
