Watch, verge watch
Gold and enamel cased verge watch. It has a circular gold watch case; its back decorated with an enamel picture of a winged cherub against a landscape background. There is a Dutch import mark on the case and additional blue and white enamel decoration. The watch has a replacement dial of white enamel with a gold arrow hour hand and moon replacement minute hand. The movement has tapered/ringed pillars. It has an English stop-work. The crown wheel is missing on the verge escapement. There are no jewels. The balance cock has a scrolled openwork design. It has a pillar plate punched '38'. There are scratches on the dial.
