A silver denarius coin of Emperor Antoninus Pius, ruler of the Roman Empire, AD 138-161. The back of the coin depicts Moneta, the female personification of riches and wealth. This coin was minted in Rome, Italy, AD 140-144.
Obv: Laureate head of Antoninus Pius, facing right. Obv inscription: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP COS III. Rev: Moneta, standing left, holding scales in her right hand and a cornucopia in the left. Rev inscription: MONETA AVG.
