Axe-hammer
Perforated axe-hammer with a flat butt tapering towards the edge and oval countersunk perforation. Signs of wear at hammer end. Source of stone: Whin Sill of northern England. Type of stone: quartz dolerite (sectioned: Group XVIII). Found in the Thames at Thames Ditton in June 1893. Part of the Lloyd collection.
