Box, patch box
Oval patch box made of metal and enamel. The lid is decorated with white enamel, with a black frame and text on the top and bottom of the frame. The text reads: "A Trifle from Margate/Hooper's Hill". Within the frame is a farm scene with people and animals. The base of the box is concave and coated in green enamel. The rim and hinge of the box is bare metal. The enamel on the lid is slightly chipped and cracked near the rim with brown stains on the surface.
