Box, patch box
Oval patch box made of metal with enamel decoration. Lid and base coated with white enamel, speckled with colour with brown metal spots showing through. The lid has a border of white enamel dots and an oval of gilt around verse: "Have communion with few/Be familiar with one/Deal justly with all/Speak evil of none". Rim and hinge are bare metal. Enamel is cracked in several places, including on the bottom of the base.
