Box
Rectangular box made of metal decorated with enamel. The box and lid are coated in white enamel with beads of off white enamel applied in lines and droplets within diamond patterns. On the sides of the box are gilt leaf frames depicting stylised figures in classical pastoral scenes. On the lid, inside an elaborate gilt frame is a classical scene with a woman and putto, rendered in full colour. The box rim and hinges are incised and cut with wavy decoration. On the top right corner of the lid a section of enamel has cracked and broken off.
