Electric floor polisher
Floor polishers were used to clean and polish wooden floors in both homes and offices. This electric floor polisher was made by Hoover at its factory on Western Avenue, Greenford. The Art Deco-style factory was designed by Wallis, Gilbert & Partners in the 1930s. It soon became a recognisable landmark for those travelling west out of central London.
