Billhead, invoice
Copper-engraved billhead with handwritten invoice issued by Roger Lamb, importer of wines and spirits at Little Pulteney Street, Golden Square, London. The invoice, dated October 1834 refers to the supply of oil, port and rum to the Reverend Hasker who lived in the village of Baughurst, Hampshire. The engraved and hand-written script is English round hand with decorated roman capitals.
