Trade card
In the late 19th and early 20th century, the supply of fixtures and fittings for churches was a major London industry. Thomas Pratt & Sons of Covent Garden were known especially as clerical tailors and robe makers although they had a supporting business as general church furnishers. Other leading London church furnishers at this period included Cox & Sons and Watts & Co.
This colourful trade card lists all the types of memorials that Thomas Pratt & Sons were able to design and supply. The firm is described as ecclesiastical art workers.
