Trade card, advertisement, invoice
Trade card with a handwritten Invoice issued by the perfumer and chemist H. Griffiths. The trade card notes a change of a address for the business from Gutter Lane to the Cherry Tree in Market Street near St James's Market, Westminster. It also lists the range of products supplied by the firm including powders, oils, creams and waters, tooth powders and soaps. On the reverse is an invoice dated 1757 referring to the supply of hard brown and white soap.
