Printed Ephemera — 1869-1870
Bought of T.Barker
Printed billhead with handwritten invoice issued by T. Barker 'puveyor' of biscuits, rusks, tops and bottoms, fancy bread', nursery rusks and digestive brown biscuits located at 3 Bury Street, St James's. The invoice refers to the supply of goods to Sir Lydeston Newman Bart in 1869. 'Tops and bottoms' were a type of rusk. The billhead includes the royal coat of arms indicating that T.Barker supplied goods to the royal household.
