Bone, pinner's bone
Pinner's bone. Bovine metatarsal, right side, fused. The lateral side at the distal end has been sawn off. The medial condyles are intact. There are four facets at the proximal end of the shaft with four deep grooves and file marks on the medial side. There is a small foramen and an enlarged hole at the proximal end. The whole bone has copper staining.
