Every year, just after Christmas a bumper Christmas party is held for the 70 or so children at the St. Margarets Residential Nursery at Leighton Road, Kentish Town. Tea is provided for the children, who are up to 5 yrs of age, by the L.C.C. Children's Dept. and generous friends of the Nursery provide a present for each child. Each year the party is honoured by a visit of the Mayor, and the photograph shows Councillor T.J. Redman at the party [following part handwritten] pulling a Cracker with on the children'. Another handwritten note reads 'Turon? 30/'12/57'.
