Paddy on Horseback
This satire shows an Irishman seated the wrong way round on a bull, racing towards London. There was a traditional joke that Irishmen came to London to make their fortune by marrying English women. It may have been inspired by proposals for removing restrictions from Irish trade, which were much opposed by English merchants.
