Gelatin silver print, part of the Henry Grant photographs collection. From a group of images of trades in London, 1970-71: Different trades in London including GPO engineer; newspaper industry; builders; street cleaners; traffic wardens. The image shows an individual cleaning the street using a machine. The handwritten captions on the reverse read 'Coloured street cleaner Camden' and '1970.' The word 'coloured' is no longer used to describe an individual as it is an offensive term.
