Photograph, gelatin silver print
Gelatin silver print, part of the Henry Grant photographs collection. From a group of images of John F. Kennedy Centre for training and education of children with disabilities in West Ham, London. The image shows two children, one using a walking pram and the other using a baby bouncer. The handwritten caption on the reverse reads 'Centre for Training of severe mentally handicapped children.' The word handicapped is no longer used, as it is an offensive term.
