Gelatin silver print, part of the Henry Grant photographs collection. From a group of images of Wanstead School, 1968. The image shows an individual constructing a bike for disabled children. The handwritten caption on the reverse reads 'Wanstead High School. Pupils design and make aids for disabled children. Here a boy is working on an adapted bicyle for handicapped children.' Today the term handicapped is not used.
