Engineering Strikers Demonstrate
Engineering worker's disputes, they demonstrate as more-pay claim is made by Union leaders in London: Engineering workers demonstrate outside Broadway House, London, 1955. Engineer's Strike 18/01/1954 includes Jim Gardener, Gavin Martin, Wally Stevens and Harry Brotherton. Ship (Confederation?) Strike, 04/1957 includes Will Tallon (ex council member AEU), Gardener, Harry Brotherton (president COSEU), R. Openshaw, Hollingsworth, Syd Ombler (sec Shipwrights), E. Roberts (NUVB), Will Carron (chairman of Engineering Group Council COSEU). 6x6 cm (1-10, 11 and 12 missing) and 35 mm (13-23). Notes on reverse about the demonstrations. Yellow sticky handwritten note attached that reads: Trace 35 mm negs. One of two sheets.
