Hampstead, 1972-1975: Various street scenes and buildings in Hampstead and Hampstead Garden Suburb. Contacts included are marked: 1-5, 5A, 6-8, 8A, 1 unnumbered, 10-21, 23-27. Handwritten notes on reverse regarding images 2-6-7-10 of Frank Ward (92 years of age in September 1972) who had lived over 63 years in a house in Back Lane, Hampstead (6 children, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren). The note continues: 'Discharged from Police after 1919 police strike, house cost £250 in 1952, now worth £14,000-£18,000' (1972), now worth around 1.5m (2019).
