Paperweight & miniature painting
This souvenir paperweight is made from marble removed from the old London Bridge. In the centre is a miniature circular painting of the Bridge and the River Thames. This image is framed by a piece of glass on which are painted two vessels. This gives a three dimensional depth to the image with the vessels appearing to be on the river painted on the image behind.
