Miscellaneous Views: New 'Dutch Houses' on the Zeeland Estate, Canvey Island, on Good Friday, 1935.

The third cottage was built with a tiled roof. Note how the central chimney was built first to support the timber structure for the circular walls. Two of the cottages remain today.
